Dr. Dennis Eckel joined Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates after completing his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and his Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences from Purdue University.

For over 20 years, Dr. Eckel has been a part of Valley Ob/Gyn. During that time, he has delivered thousands of babies in Scottsdale. In addition to practicing obstetrics and gynecology, he has served as Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn and serves as a member of the Scottsdale Healthcare Executive Committee. He holds a faculty position with Scottsdale Healthcare's Family Practice Residency Program.

As a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Eckel is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Eckel and his wife, Debbie, have two sons and one daughter. He enjoys scuba diving, skiing, and hiking.
